NOTES FOR BALLSCREW INSTALLATION

1. Determine the height of the bearing seat (referring to the position of the nut seat of the moving part)

2. Adjust the position of bearing seat A and bearing seat B so that they are concentric and parallel to the side datum plane and the upper datum plane of the guide rail (as shown in the figure).

3. The above errors should be controlled within 0,015 mm, otherwise the service life and accuracy of ball screw will be affected.

4. The ball screw can be installed after the bearing seat is positioned properly. The specific installation needs to refer to the assembly drawings of various manufacturers.

5. Pre-stretching of ball screw, according to the specific conditions of each manufacturer set the stretching value. Note: Pre-stretching the ball screw as far as possible after preheating.

6. Long ball screw needs auxiliary support structure to overcome the deflection of ball screw.

7. In the process of installing the ball screw, vibration, bending and external corrosive media should be avoided so that it will not be damaged. The installed ball screw needs to be coated with lubricating grease.

8. Ball screw can operate normally in the temperature range from - 20 C to + 100 C. If it exceeds this temperature range, please contact Korta's technical department.
